Jul 23, 2005 - STO Update
One of the reasons we setup the blog on our in-development website is so that we'd have a single place to make announcements and respond to community concerns. ventually, we'll have official forums up and running for this purpose, but in the meantime, we are reading and sometimes posting on the existing community forums. aramount's STO forum on StarTrek.com is the main forum we monitor since it is the most official. But we also lurk - and sometimes post on other community forums.
There have been several posts asking about the research we're doing. We are conducting the research through a company who's expertise is finding a group that is representative of the diversity of people who may be interested in playing Star Trek Online. I think there's a reasonable chance that some people who participate in the forums make it into the group. nd after the formal poll is conducted, I'd like to re-run the questionnaire with an open invite for the community to participate. We'd like to get as much feedback as possible.
s for the convention, as I mentioned in the previous post, we'll be there. len, Ken, Ian, and I will be there for sure. nd perhaps a few more from the team will join us too. I've been talking to the show organizers about us participating in an official way. It will be a great opportunity to introduce ourselves and perhaps reveal a little more about where we're headed.
Stay tuned...
